I wondered awhile what kind of treat would be good for a 9-month-old. Aha! Gummy Bears! Well, a stuffed one, anyway. :-) Here it is.

Recently I looked out my kitchen window and was surprised to see this young red-tailed hawk perched on my clothesline pole! (I'm sorry the picture isn't clearer, but considering it was taken from around 30 feet away and through a screen, I guess it's not too bad.)
Remember these geraniums from that rainy day a couple weeks ago? Well, they're even happier now with the sunshine, and I couldn't resist taking some more pics of them!
These that have a mixture of petal types fascinate me!
Ah, such a beautiful evening... so calm and quiet. The moon was lovely rising up behind Nate's bin.
And at the same time, off to the west was a peaceful sunset.
