Courtney's kindergarten class put on a little play last Friday. It was called Pete the Cat - I Love My White Shoes. It was fun to watch, and all the kids did a great job!
This time Mommy, other grandparents and I had second-row seats (as opposed to the balcony like last time), and she spotted us right away, giving us this happy smile.
Have you ever heard of Pete the Cat? Below is a glimpse of part of him.
Pete wears white shoes, but he keeps stepping in things that change the colors of them. The first thing he stepped in was strawberries:
Courtney showed us what color his shoes turned then:
At the end, he stepped in some water, which made his shoes all white (but wet) again! Below is the water. Take note of the colors of the water splashing out of it. Pete had also stepped in blueberries and mud. :)
The author of the book does a cute live telling of the story on YouTube here, if you're interested. Very fun... it'll get you singing! ;)

My very favorite book. I have a video of Levi "reading" it to me when he was 3. Precious
