I can't stop doing this! I hope I'm not boring you with these similar posts. But there are so many lovely frost designs on our living room windows, and I'm finding their intricacy to be just fascinating! I'm also trying to do a little comparison between the new camera's shots and the old one's.
These first three shots are from the new camera. I don't have any special lenses for it (yet?), and so far it's just on Auto mode (+ macro setting).
The rest of the pics are from my old camera. Also Auto mode (+ macro).
Whaddya think? So far I like the old camera's shots better. But just wait'll I learn how to use the new camera! Ha!
Comparison aside, aren't those designs just amazing?!!!

All of the photos are very cool! Not in the least boring.
Thanks, Annie Dee. Glad you enjoy them!
The intricacy is amazing and just beautiful. I am definitely not bored. Thanks for sharing!

Norah says they are beautiful and she loves them. She found a few favorites and wants to look at them again. We have not had frost like that on our windows.
The second one looks like a basket of flowers!
Thank you! Glad to hear you're not bored. :) These frost designs show up in between 2 panes of glass on our windows. There seems to get a frustrating amount of moisture in there, thus the designs when it freezes. Not the best windows, perhaps, but great artwork!
I am going to vote with the other admiring fans.
I just love those frost designs.
Thank you.

Awesome, more of God's beautiful creations. Love em'
Thanks, Dale!
Yep, God gets all the credit for the design work, Grace!
can't beat mother nature for her amazing art work. My favorite photos of all you do. Mark
Thanks, Mark. I think you're my bestest frost fan! :)
Love love LOVE all of the shots! I just can't stop being in awe of the beautiful designs that are so short lived.
If you get another nice bit of frost, try shooting in portrait mode...that mode makes the back ground more blurry and you can probably still get up close.
Both cameras did great shots! Note card worthy for sure!
One year I made my own set of note cards. I used pictures that represented each month of the year. I actually use those pictures for the "calendar" in my room at school. I stick a token on the wall for each of my students' birthday underneath. It takes awhile for them to realize the pictures represent a calendar.
Anyway, you should collect your favorite for each month and use either as notecards or as a calendar. But then, you take awesome pics every month so there are so many new ones to enjoy!
Thanks, Jill! Also for the suggestion of portrait mode... I'll give it a try! With our forecast, there should be plenty more frost designs to shoot in the next few days. Brrr!
Becky, that's a cool calendar idea for your students!
I do make my own greeting cards using my photos. :)
