First sightings

What a glorious day it was today! Well, after the 30-40 mph winds went down, that is. But it got up to 62°, and by the time I went out to feed the cats a little while ago, it was perfectly calm out, and so QUIET! Then I heard a robin chirping, and sure enough I could see it, so of course I had to go in for the camera. Then I saw a second robin. They were both way up in the highest branches of the trees, so not the best photos ever, but they're my first for 2016!

In case you've been wondering what I've been up to, I've been busy working on this:

These supplies came in the mail last week, and they're for the pattern test I'm doing. That's a lot of stuff, right? It's gonna be so fun to get it all put together! Can't wait to show you more.....

So, I am seeing the words "eye" and "face" on those bags of stuff in that box. Could these be parts of a stuffed critter (or cuddle friend, as they are called at my house)? Sure looks like some fun things to play with.

It is supposed to be in the high 50's to mid 60's all week here! I am so excited!!!

You're so observant, Jenny! You could very well be right! ;) I am having a great time with this pattern! Nice to step away from bags for a bit.

Hurray for your warmer weather, too! Yes, it's worthy of great excitement!

I saw a robin yesterday and immediately thought, "Spring is here."
Curious about your baggies.

But how many times is it, Kathy, that they say a robin must get snow on its tail before spring is here to stay? ;)

You'll soon be seeing what the baggies are all about! I am having so much fun with it all!

Yay for the warm weather and the robins, it's good to finally see some signs that spring is coming.

I can't wait to see more of what you're making from that bag. :) Is it coming along nicely?

Yes, what a relief to know that spring is nearby, even if this isn't quite 'it' yet (although I'm hoping it is!).

My project is going very smoothly! It is truly a lot of fun! Can't wait to finish and show you!
