I'm still here. Just don't have much to blog about these days. But here's what I'm currently working on. Note the size of the pattern pieces compared to the scissors. Yep, it's something little again.
I think Courtney will like it. I'll show you when I'm finished. Unfortunately I don't think it'll be done before she gets here tomorrow.
Courtney LOVES this video. Why? I don't know! But she watched it about 10 times right after lunch on Tuesday until I told her it was time to stop, and then she asked if she could watch it again after her nap. She did. Another 10 times or more.
She said she really liked the "Woohoo!!" at the end. But maybe it was actually the cute little boy she found so fascinating???
Just don't tell Auntie Jess that the title of that post was "I don't care for orange"!
I finally brought my amaryllises out a couple weeks ago. I did it later than usual, because I didn't really have a place to put them (that was safe from Josie, at least) where they'd get much sunlight until recently. Not to mention that we haven't had much sunshine this winter! But finally the snow melted down enough in front of my sewing room window that I could set them there. (Yeah, it's been kinda like a cave in there most of the winter. Not too inspiring for sewing.) They're doing nicely, and since I took this pic on Monday, each one has sprouted a flower stalk.
Did you notice the one on the left has a youngster? Yep, she produced it last year. I doubt that the baby will bloom this year, though. I think it takes a couple years or more.
What's that you say? There's still an awful lot of snow in front of my window? Yeah, you've got that right. *sigh* And we're supposed to get more next week. Ack. At least I have something green and growing to watch.

Well, two somethings for me, actually. Back in December, I got an iPad. Jess 'n Alex brought theirs when they were here for Thanksgiving, and it seemed pretty cool. So I thought about it for a while and finally decided to get one for myself. I LOVE IT!! For lots of reasons.
Here's a lousy picture of it. ;) Just ignore the flash from the camera and the reflection of the ceiling fan/light. I was too lazy to go back upstairs and take another picture. Also, the background was my addition. It looks a little weirder in the photo than it really is.
I finally got around to making a case for it, to use when I take it somewhere. I finished it yesterday (one of the projects I mentioned I was working on). I'm not totally satisfied with it, but it'll do for the little use it'll get. I should've had it made before we went to Des Moines in January, but the bubble wrap I used instead sufficed okay. :)
Here's a look at the inside, with the iPad in it. It's a very close fit. Almost too close.

Courtney also loves my iPad. I've downloaded a few games for her to play on it, and even some books she can listen to. So many fun (and free!) things to choose from. Speaking of bubble wrap, here she is popping some (way back on her birthday)!
