What I did on my April 2, 2009

This is my sewing room (a.k.a spare bedroom).
Before:

My camera wouldn't give me an accurate color there. Imagine it to actually be a faded pale mint green.

Just beginning:

Fairly accurate for the wet paint. At least you get an idea of the contrast.

After:

I'd say that's pretty accurate. If anything, the actual color is maybe just slightly lighter.

I heard recently that blue is supposed to be an 'inspiring' color. If nothing else, I think this color is fun! I love it! I think it'll be great to sew surrounded by it! :-)

Yes, done. :-)

And FYI, one coat of paint covered beautifully. ;-)

Looks very nice.

Is it semi gloss?

I like the way the texture shows.

Thanks, Dale (and Jess, too)!\

Yep, semi-gloss. Valspar.

Don't you just LOVE Valspar paint? I probably won't ever use anything else again, although I have had good luck with Behr, but don't like Home Depot. So Valspar completely has my heart right now. I think the color is beautiful. You will be very inspired to sew in that room. Especially if you are sewing the new "spa" fabric. hee hee.
