Another fabric basket

The fabric basket I made before was so fun that I decided to make another one (from the tutorial found here). This time I made the smaller size basket, and I used a quilt weight fabric for it.

I thought the combination looked rather "springy".

This basket is quite a bit smaller than my first one. It measures 5½" x 3½" x almost 4" high. Here's a little size comparison:

And here it is next to my original basket:

The little one is Courtney's Easter gift. Of course I had to stuff it with a little goodie. I'll show you that another day!

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter celebration tomorrow! And do remember that the real celebration is not about bunnies and eggs, but rather the resurrection of our Lord and Savior!

What a darling basket! It looks like you're getting very close to crossing the line between sewing and quilting... From there, it's a very slippery slope. Be careful- Still waiting for your first quilt... although, the mug rug you made a while back could also be considered a mini quilt. Not long before you're a full fledged quilter.

Thanks, Kris! Haha... yeah, I know... I'm scaring myself! But I haven't made a mug rug... have I?!?

Great! Yeah, they 'are' kind of addicting, aren't they? :) Trouble is, I want to make more of 'everything' I make, but don't really have use for it all. :)

Do you have a blog or Flickr account where your things can be seen?
