Springtime in Chicago, part 1

Here are some random shots I took when we went for a walk. Everything was springtime fresh and so pretty! Enjoy! (And as usual, click to enlarge if you wish.)

Great pictures, isn't it fun to do "drive by shooting" photos. Now the next step is to take them while you are driving. It is against the law to talk on a cell phone (I know I got caught) but there is no law against taking pictures, I haven't figured that one out yet.

It really is an odd year when at the beginning of April it looks like the end of May. Does this mean you will have snow in September? Mark

Spring has definitely sprung!

I live in South Florida now, so things are in bloom here year-round. However, I'm originally from Upstate New York and I remember how magnificent it was to watch those first buds and flowers come out, then turn into gorgeous trees full of happiness. Beautiful photos! They make me a little homesick but bring back really great memories.

Thanks, Gwen, and Happy Spring to you, too! Or maybe it's more like summer there by now, huh?
