Anyplace will do

After a week's worth of sewing posts, I'm sure (some of) you are missing Annabelle! Sure you are! I just KNOW you are!!! :) Well, miss her no more... here she is!

When you're tired, any comfy spot works.

That was the inside of my coat, which is fleece. The warmth of that, plus the electric heat radiating down on it from above, made it just irresistible!

That'll teach me to hang up my coat, right?! Actually, I'd hung it there, inside out, on purpose. I'd been to someone else's house where there are a lot of cats, and my coat was full of cat hair. I wanted to clean it off before I hung it up, so I turned the hairy side in so the hair wouldn't get everywhere. I had to delay the cleaning for a while. ;)

Too funny. Where's the lint brush?

Fortunately at this age, she doesn't shed much, but I sure did use the lint brush... and a roller... on the outside of the coat!

Annabelle looks like me since my retirement. Relaxed and lazy. Love the new little doll and all the cute outfits. Been having internet issues and have not been able to get to the blog for sometime. Mums the word, I know one little girl that will be thrilled with all your effort. Nice job.

Thanks, Grace... and welcome back! I've missed you! And I cannot even imagine you being lazy!! :)

She has the prettiest markings.

She does, Cindy! I love her markings! I wish I could get a better pic of the markings on her back, though. They just don't show up very well in photos I've taken so far. I'll keep trying. :)

So cozy! Enjoy your Christmas, giving that awesome gift. I am sewing away. Not really sewing, I'd call it hemming. I am working on the 2, 5-pillow case bed rests for Simon and Norah. I am getting to be almost done with Norah's. I do have to say, that using quality fabric is really making the difference. I splurged for quilt shop quality fabric, and I sure do notice a difference.

Norah's is bright colors with 5 patterns: stripes, polka dots, owls, and flowers. SImon's 5 patterns are space themed, with 3 glow-in-the-dark space patterns. Gotta keep sewing . . . then wrapping . . 7 more sleeps!

Way to go, Becky! I bet the kids will love their pillow thingies! Only 7 more sleeps? Yikes!
