Remember the Izzy Purse? That was a project she sewed for 4-H. It was judged a couple weeks ago, but she didn't get to find out the results until the time of the fair. She got a blue ribbon on it! Here it is, with a photo that went with it of her cats, Zoey and Izzy (whom the purse was created after).
She wanted you to have a closer look, with the signature 'eye', of course.
Since her emoji pillow was made too late for a 4-H project, she entered it in the Open Class section at the same fair. She also got a blue ribbon on that!
The closer view (and 'eye'):
And one more shot, just because she's goofy like that! :)
She was very proud of her accomplishments, and rightly so. I think she's hooked on sewing now (yay!). In fact, she just may have made another pillow yesterday of her favorite emoji. Guess which one it is... and come back here on Friday to see if your guess was right!
(I definitely think this is becoming a Courtney blog. Ha! I did, however, finish sewing my 3rd bra. More on that later.)

YAY Courtney! Hoot! Hoot! Hooray! Yippee! Congratulations! Super job! Woohooooo! So happy for you!
Thanks for all the cheers, Annie Dee!!! :D
Well done, Courtney! I can't wait to see what her favorite emoji is. My youngest keeps trying to convince me to buy him an emoji pillow. Maybe I should show him Courtney's and convince him to make his own. :)
Bravo Courtney! You did so well! It's so fun to see her sewing progress from one project to another. You both have very good reasons to be proud. :)
I think the signature picture should be mandatory for every Courtney project that gets posted on this blog. ;P
Great fun! Love to see all this creativity!
Thanks, Jenny! Yes, have him make his own... they're really pretty easy. If he doesn't want to sew those little pieces, there's always glue! ;)
Thanks, Gen... yes, she's progressing so nicely... and fast! She's also the one who remembers the signature eye pics. :)
Yes, Jess... it was very fun! Just you wait, and you'll see more.... ;)
