It was a "working weekend"

And here's my "boss", hard at it.

She brought her sewing machine and made some things for herself while I sewed more bags for the shop. We had a lot of fun and a very productive weekend besides.

Okay, we didn't sew ALL weekend. Courtney and her family came over, too, of course, and we played some, ate good food, watched a movie, etc. More pics and stuff later. For some reason I'm very tired and am headed off to bed. :-)

So, you guys had a dueling sewing machines thing?

Who won?

We both did! We each accomplished what we'd set out to. :-)

No. I won. Hee hee.

That's more like it.

I just want to think competition was involved.

Two machines.

Mother,Daughter.

Now we just need an impartial judge.

What are those little green things?

Yeah, we need an IMPARTIAL judge!

If you mean "those little green things" on her table, they are pieces of a bag like those I'm making. Jess made one for herself. She also made this.

First off, I love the color of your sewing room walls. Second, it cracked me up when somewhat asked Jess on her blog where she got the cool fabric for her belt. Must have been a newbie reader to her blog...

Looks like you have a very cool weekend.

Thanks, Cindy! And yeah, I always get a chuckle when somebody asks Jess where she gets the fabric she works with. ;-)

We did have a great weekend! And there only remain 2 of the 5 bags I sent back with her... probably only because she hasn't been home to photograph and list them yet. :-) The others were "repeats", so she could list them "from the road".
