You can row it, Mark!

Click any photo to enlarge.

Not too bad, considering the spring we've had, huh?

For you non-farmers.... it's a field of corn just coming up. :)

And lest you feel left out, here are a couple for you, Cindy:

The lilacs are just beginning to open.

Wish I could send you some fragrance! :)

All you had to say was "you can row it" and I would of known you were not talking about a boat or canoe. Great pictures (as always)of the corn fields. The next phrase I will wait for is "knee high" in the old days it was knee high by the 4th and that meant a good crop in fall.

I can smell the Lilacs, they are the one flower that I miss the most from the midwest. When Cindy and I were in college there was a one block square park full of lilac bushes and in the spring we would walk thru and fragrence was amazing. Every time I see a lilac picture it always brings warm and good feelings. thanks for making my morning start off with good memories. Mark

You are most welcome! I'll have my camera ready for "knee high" by the 4th of July. :)

Lilacs! That's what my yard needs! Do deer like 'em? I hope not. I'm tired of feeding 'em.

And I may not be a farmer but I did grow up in the country so I knew that is corn! Now I shall have "Oklahoma" tunes in my head. "..and the corn is as high as an elephant's eye!"

Becky, I don't think deer bother the lilacs. Then again, we have so many bushes that I wouldn't notice if they did. ;)

Do lilacs grow where you are? I'm not sure. They may need a cold winter. (?)
