I found this guy on my hibiscus plant. I guess he was drying off after a rain or something. Anyway, he certainly wasn't active. He was quite good about letting me get closeups. ;-)
He's pretty wicked-looking, though!

I think your bee pictures are great.
Close ups often reveal things you wouldn't usually notice.
