Random fallness, part 3

I thought I'd show you where I took some of the photos from. We have a pasture that's mostly on a pretty good-sized hill. At the top of the hill is this pile of rocks.

I was standing on the rocks.

Our yard is on the other side of this grove of trees. That's our silo up there.

You can see for miles from up on those rocks.

One of the first things new visitors say about our place is what a great view we have. It's true! (Right, Mark 'n Cindy?)

Quite a contrast in colors between the lush green alfalfa and the ripe corn in the field beyond it.

Wind towers have gotten to be pretty numerous along the countryside. Though they're quite a distance away, I can hear them some days.

These below are near a town about 7 miles away. (And yes, I took that pic from the rocks, too.)

Great view! And I just can't get used to those wind towers.

once again amazing pictures, and yes when I got out of the car and saw your view from atop the hill. I said "what a view".

Too bad those metal trees whose branches keep turning the same way don't change colors in fall.

I LIKE that idea of having the wind towers change color in the fall! I wonder how that could be arranged.....

A very long ladder, a large bucket of paint, and a wide paint brush. Blazing yellow, burnt orange, fiery red?

Sounds great! As long as I'm not the one on the ladder!
