Besides the gerbera daisies, here is what I'm enjoying around here these days (click on each picture to enlarge):

Petunias (loving the yellow/purple ones!):

Clustered bellflowers:

Bachelor Buttons:

Nonstop Begonias:

Phlox:

Dianthus:

Ooohh, I love the pointed gazanias on the right. Especially with deep bufgandy/brown little spots around the middle. I bet Cindy could turn that into a quilt block named gazania. Such pretty blooms and colors.

You're probably right on that, Becky! And she'd do an excellent job of it! Let's hope she sees this and gets the hint. ;)

So pretty! Though Gazania sounds like a word you just made up. Admit it.

Ha! Google it and you'll see!

I love this time of year before it gets too hot and too dry; when stuff blooms and doesn't dry out too fast. Our yucca bloomed about a kazillion white blossoms - so pretty! And if we can convince the birds etc to stay away from the blueberries, we'll have a bumper crop later on!
Thanks for the beautiful photos!

Oh, you have blueberries?! I love them, and I've been considering raising them. Are they hard to raise? I could ask you all kinds of questions, but I'll just start with that one for now. :)
