My laundry assistant

Well, maybe she's more of an inspector than an assistant.

Whatever she is, she's very willingly there... every time!

Two of my cats INSIST on sitting in the laundry basket when it's full of clean clothes. They believe it's their duty to put the fur back onto the clothes... and because of their washing machine curiosity, we always made sure the top load washer door was closed. Now I've got a front load and they don't seem at all interested in how the clothes get cleaned (shades of the Henny Penny story about baking the bread).

Sorry - not Henny Penny. It was the Little Red Hen who wanted help baking the bread...

Clothes with fur are warmer! 'Course you probably don't need that down there. Maybe it's an old habit from when you lived farther north? Nice that they're still taking care of you, anyway. Ha! Gotta love laundry assistants! ;)

She looks like SHE's been fluffed in the dryer!

She's pretty fluffy, all right, but hasn't been in the dryer. :) My sister had a cat that took a tumble in the dryer one time, though! It made a few rounds before they figured out what the thumping noise was. He was a little dizzy, but none the worse for wear afterwards, luckily!
