I got another package in the mail last week! Here's what was in it. Can you guess what it is?
Jess had gotten an offer from LabelsandRibbon.com to try out their custom-made woven labels, and they sent a complimentary order made from our design. Since I do the sewing, I got the labels! Aren't they lovely?
The ones we ordered are about this size:
I didn't have them in time for my photo shoot of Jess's tote with Courtney (they came the next day), but I added one later and Courtney helped me with a picture when she was here on Friday. See how nice it looks?
I'd thought many times of buying labels or making my own to put on all the bags, etc., that I sew, but I never got around to it. Woven ones are the best, but I'd heard that they are all made overseas and take 6-8 weeks to arrive. So I continued to procrastinate on my decision.
This offer was very timely for adding a label to the tote for Quilt Market! We were told that they would ship in 2-3 weeks, and I had them exactly 3 weeks from the day they were ordered! Jess did the designing (consulting with me) and the ordering. About the ordering process she said, "I was super happy with the website. Ordering was easy and fun, and there’s an amazing range of colors to choose from."
We are both very pleased with the labels and highly recommend LabelsandRibbon.com. We'd order from them again. That is, if I ever sew enough to use up the 300 we got! Ha!

Oh I'm so jealous! the labels look great. Yeah!! Congrats! š
Thanks! :)
I hope you don't mind sewing me 299 more bags.
Only 298, remember? There's one already done that I haven't showed my readers yet! One that you have to take photos of for me after you get it today, because I didn't have time before I mailed it at the last possible second. :) I'd like a pic of it next to the tote, too, while you're at it, please.
Will do!
These are fabulous labels! I'm always on the lookout for new labels and these look just perfect.
Very nice labels, GG! And very nice design, Jess! Classic, simple and beautiful. Totally like. I must go check them out.
Thanks, Cindy and LiEr!
