Wednesday morning the cats were calmly eating their canned cat food, which they love and little will deter them from it, when all of a sudden Josie made a mad dash to hide on a chair under the table. Scared by Josie, Annabelle ran to hide on another chair. The reason for this mad scrambling was a crop duster plane... flying VERY low and DIRECTLY over our house! Back and forth... back and forth. If I'd been standing on the roof, I wonder if I could've reached up and touched it! It looked like it could clip the top of the machine shed, but it didn't.
By the time I'd gotten outside with the camera, it wasn't going directly over the house anymore, but it kept flying for quite a while. I took a few shots from the south side....
.... and then I went out the north. Just look how low it was!
Then it circled around over the trees....
.... and was off for another round.

After it finally left, the cats finished their breakfast and all was well again.
And yes, in case you noticed, there's a smudge in the middle of every photo. Ugh. I must figure out what it is (I couldn't see it on the lens) and put that cleaning kit to use!

Great pictures as always, especially the ones with it lined up with the corner of the eve and the one with the yard light post. The question is what were they spraying this time of year?
Thistles in our pasture, is the word I got when I asked, too. :)
Wow. He's flying low. Nerves of steel I guess?
And amazing precision!
Wish I could've gotten a shot of him over the machine shed or house, though! THOSE would be blow-you-away photos!! Next time...... ;)
