I love green!

Especially the new green of spring!

And I love blue!

And lilac (victorian?), too!

Yellow? Not so much.

Though we seem to have plenty of it. A big portion of our lawn looked like this yesterday.

I mowed it off. But they're starting to pop right back up. Actually, the yellow part isn't so bad. It's the seed puffballs that really get ugly. And fly into your eyes when you're mowing. If dandelions start growing out of my eyeballs, I'll take a photo and post it here.

Your lilacs are beautiful. We have babied the same bush for nearly 40 years and they never bloom like that. What are we doing wrong? Perhaps we have the wrong variety. It came from my home place and is from very old stock. This year there is hardly enough to bring in for a bouquet. But I think our dandelions may have yours beat. Some treasure ! HUH? And ours have a dirty mouth too. When they see the lawn mower coming they all yell a FOUR letter word.....DUCK!! and the blade goes right over 'em. Grace

Thanks! I don't know what to say about your lilac bush. Maybe it's the soil... or just the fact that it's so old and maybe a newer variety would do better. We don't do a thing to ours... they just do their own thing. :-)

I'll gladly let you have the title of "Most Dandelions" if you want it. But be aware that that photo is only a small portion of ours. They sure seem to be thriving for everybody this year. But won't they be nice when Courtney starts bringing us bouquets? :-)
