We had a heavy mist/light rain this morning, and it made for some lovely photos. Click on any of them to see them a bit larger.
My crabgrass is thriving. Crabgrass has only one redeeming quality... it's very pretty when it's going to seed. Below is what it looks like when it's going to seed AND has been rained on.
These black-eyed susans are nearing the end of their blooming season. But look how pretty the rain has made the contrast between the spent blooms and the newer ones.
And the godetia (mallow?) also looks so pretty with the droplets on it.
