I didn't have the heart to do it

I mentioned last spring that I might toss my hibiscus plant rather than bring it back in for the winter, since it's so old and needs to be in a bigger (harder to handle) pot, etc. But I couldn't do it. I brought it in a week or so ago, and this is what it looked like yesterday. It had seven flowers. And look at all those buds! So I guess it'll be around for another season, at least!

You really should click on the link above to see how it looked then compared to now!

Looks like the haircut this spring really helped it out. I also brought in a couple of my outdoor plants this week. My gerbera daisy has 4 blossoms on it. I just couldn't let it freeze.

so I found this super cool (potentially) quilting program where you upload a program and it will make a cool kaleidoscope picture out of it, which you then print on fabric that you run through your printer, and then sew it into a quilt. Got that? Anyway...I want to try it with some of your pictures. I'll let you know how it turns out. Oh, I guess I forgot to ask the photographer's permission. Asking permission.

I love gerbera daisies, Kris! I hope it does well for you indoors, too!

Cindy... permission granted. As long as you got your bookwork done first. And all your other projects. And you make me a quilt out of the pics you use. Ha! Just kidding! Have at 'em... but do SHOW me what you end up with!
