... I couldn't show them to you before Tuesday, because they might have ruined the surprise for Courtney. (And besides, I didn't finish them till Monday... heheh.) Anyway, I decided to try my hand at making these little hair clips for her for Valentine's Day. They were pretty easy, albeit quite putzy... just little felt covers over a regular metal hair clip.
Who better to show them off than our favorite little model after we washed her hair!
Yeah... dance yourself dizzy!
They did keep her hair out of her face better than her headband did. Maybe Grandma had an ulterior motive???

Thanks to you both. The tutorial I used was here. There was another one I might try sometime, but I don't remember right offhand where it was. Just google "hair clip tutorial" or something like that, and you'll find plenty.
I love the second picture of her. She is such a cutey. Charlotte will wear hair clips for just a little while, and then she pulls them out. And then she spends the rest of the day moving that curly hair out of her face. I think hair clips are the perfect solution. Charlotte? Not so much...
