The last of my amaryllises is blooming now. Here's my ever-eager little assistant taking a sniff of it. She's also giving you a comparison so you can see how big the flowers are.
I like the flowers embroidered on her jeans, too!

Those are some awesome blooms. Can I adopt my amaryllis out to you? It is for sure you are a better gardener. Cute little girl too.
Sure, I'd adopt it, if you're serious. For heaven's sake, don't throw it out! But didn't you say you just got it? Maybe it just needs to be outside for some summer sun, and then it'd bloom next winter. Give it a try?
I agree about the little girl. :) Is she with you today?
I can't believe the size of those, especially the big one.
Are you getting special fertilizer from out in the cattle yard?
Dale
Nope, not that kind of "special" fertilizer. I use Miracle Grow.
Actually, the first one that bloomed, the pink and white one, has another flower stalk so will bloom again... AND... it has a baby this year, a little offshoot from the bulb! I think that's a first for me. Does that mean I'm gonna become a grandma again???
WOW! Those are huge! Fertilzer huh....funny :)
Jesus.. Sometimes I dont realise what it's all about, because this little girl is shining!! Im just realising things she use, hair bows, smile, eyes... etc :) She has a real fan right here from Ä°stanbul. :))
