Not my kind of day!

When I got up this morning shortly after 7:00 a.m., it was already 79° outside. I think the overnight low was 74°. The windows were all fogged over on the outside of the house (sorry, no pics... I didn't think of taking any until most of it was cleared off the windows, and what's left just didn't show up well in the pics I tried). I first went outside at about 8:30, it was 80° and the humidity was 83%! Aaaack!! This is Minnesota, folks... that's just not right!!

Thank goodness for air conditioning!!

. . . and hopefully some rain that doesn't make it worse, but drives the humidity away!

... and without storms, if I can add that condition. :)

We do have some hay down, but it sure isn't drying, anyway.

Okay, I won't be unhappy with our predicted 100+ temps this weekend, because we won't have all that humidity!

Yeah, I think I'd be willing to trade you, Cindy. Except this is better for the crops/gardens (not counting the hay that's waiting to be baled).

Well, I don't know if many people know my little (not so well kept) secret.

I HATE SUMMER !

Maybe I could refine that to: I hate humidity, high temps, mosquitoes and gnats, and weeds and storms that destroy trees.

Dale, your secret had already leaked out to me. :)

I sympathize with you... I hate all those things, too. But I don't hate summer. Does that make sense? :) Actually, I like the kind of summer we had last year, where it was much cooler. But I don't dare say that too loud, either. It doesn't sit well with farmers who need the heat for their crops. ;)

I hear you on that point.
Maybe if I had a corn crop I could at least drown my misery with visions of a huge crop.
Weather that's good for corn is not good for me.
Weather that's good for harvesting corn is good for me.

Yeah, I much prefer the good harvesting weather, too. My favorite time of year!
