A bit odd

I know, I know... I said no more snow pics. But I just can't help myself! When I see something interesting, the camera comes out. And besides the snow is MELTING, and that's GREAT news! I just happened to find this bit of melting snow pretty unusual. This is behind our house... north side... slower melt. See that little glob down there on the dirt?

It's all top! Cool shape.

Look at it from the other side. You can even see a drop ready to fall out of the bottom of it.

That was last Friday evening. Needless to say, it didn't last through the night. We've actually been having some above average temperatures. It got up to 62° yesterday!! So the snow is going fast, although there's still plenty in the evergreen trees (notice I spared you a pic). My garden is now bare, and the rhubarb is even coming up. It's SPRING, folks!!

It was 83 degrees today. A bit too warm a bit too early! I do not prefer unseasonable weather at any point of the year. We still un-bundled and rode our bikes to the park and grilled dinner when we came home. A very lovely day! With green grass and absolutely no snow!

Wow! Yeah, I'd agree that 83° is too much too soon. Our 50° wasn't so bad, except for the fog. MOST of our snow is gone, and the grass is beginning to look a little green.
