When the sun hits (below), it also shows up every bit of dirt on the window. ;(

The pic just above is from the old camera. The one below is from the new camera, after the sun began to hit it. Interesting differences. But how 'bout all those little curls?!

Happy Birthday, Miss Courtney!
We'll see you at your party tomorrow!

Happy Birthday, Aunt Irene, too! :)

I've decided that you must have magic windows.

Once again amazing pictures, I am always fascinated by the intricate designs and how they form. Do you think they start in the middle and work out or do they just form all at once? Plus what causes the different designs? Maybe it is just "magic". Mark

Might be fun to put a video camera on the window overnight and catch 'em in the making.
Our kids once set the video camera to cycle on and off at timed intervals to record a rose bud opening into a beautiful full blossom. Cool 4-H project.
See you tomorrow at the PARTY! Keep warm.

I don't know how or when they appear. All I know is 'there they are'. MAGIC!!!

I suppose there's information about it all on the internet somewhere. Anybody want to volunteer to research? :)

Interestingly, there wasn't much change today from yesterday's. The only thing very noticeable was on that roundish curly one. I'll post a new pic of it later.
