Cropping

I usually use Google's Picasa3 for editing my photos. When I'm cropping, there are always "suggested" crops in various sizes. I guess they're intended to be artistic, and for the most part, I really like them. I just thought I'd show you some of what they offer... not because I'm pushing Picasa or anything, but just because. Plus it gives me a chance to show you my gorgeous gazanias once again, which are getting thicker and prettier all the time. ;)

Here's the whole barrel full that I started out with:


This is one of the suggested crops for that photo:


Then I took individual pictures of some of the different types of gazanias. You can see if you like Picasa's cropping suggestions better than just chopping off the edges with the flowers directly in the center.

I like the interesting croppings. Asymmetry is better. And I really wish I had those flowers on my patio!
