"Golden hour" photos, Part 2

Here's another fuzzy weed... goldenrod all puffed out and going to seed.


Background makes all the difference... when I knelt down so the trees showed behind it, it looked like this:


The leaves on the trees weren't really that colorful. I think they were more dried and brown looking mixed in with greener leaves, but the sun hitting them just right made magic!

It is Fall and the colors are beautiful. I forgot about the Golden Rod and all the fuzz flying around. I just remembered the Milk Weed and all its pods opening. As always great pictures including the previous post.

Beautiful! We've really been enjoying this extension of summer. Still no frost here.

Thanks, Kris! Yeah, amazing that we haven't had a frost yet... thank goodness! Looks like our summer extension might be ending this weekend, though... brrr! But there'll still be Indian summer ahead, right? :)
