Saturday evening as Grandpa and I were finishing supper, I glanced out the window to see this:
Mama's teaching baby where to find water?! NO... you may NOT drink from my birdbath (even though you are birds)!! ACK!!! GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!
This isn't the first time I've seen turkeys up there. There were some several years ago... who were watching the ones on the ROOF!

You might have to rename Purrl "Diana Nyad"!! All 3 of my cats have weird water related habits - or is that water "style"?
I guess the turkey isn't that afraid that she'd train her young one to come up right on the porch! Too funny.
"Style" - for sure. Ha! Josie likes to dip her front foot in the water and lick it off her paw. And of course shake it and splatter it as far as possible.
No, unfortunately they're not very afraid at all. You can get very close to them before they move on.
Wow, that is quite a surprise to find at the bird bath!!
Yep... not the kind of surprise I like, either!
