I love it when this happens

I didn't plan for this splice to turn out this way. I think it would've been too hard to figure out where it was going to come together, since the splice is on a slant. But when I took the two pieces to sew them, I saw how very close they were going to end up, so I just manipulated them a little bit and it worked out perfectly! It made me smile. A lot!
