Big things and "little" things

Soooo.... I'm busy in the house and happen to glance toward the living room windows... and this is what I see!

Josie'd apparently been keeping an eye on them for me.

Weirdo birds!!

Someone mentioned in the comments a few days ago that I noticed the "little things", or something like that. Well, I noticed a little thing (or big, depending on your perspective) that day, and it's one reason I don't like the turkeys on our deck!

Yuck.

Quit laughing.

Haha! That's awesome.
My cats would have gone nuts! We have turkeys in our area once in a while but I've never seen them in our yard.

Haha :'D Those pictures really made me laugh (sorry!). On the first one, the turkey on the right looks like it is very interested to see what's going on inside your home.

Their little "gifts" however are far less interesting. Yuck indeed.

Turkey poop is no laughing matter... I certainly wouldn't want it on my deck.

Accoring to the Humane Society, if you want to get rid of the turkeys you have to "establish your dominance by hazing the turkey(s)" which makes me think of turkeys pledging greek organizations- perhaps something like Phi Kappa Wattle?

Well, here's the rest of the Humane Society's info on getting rid of wild turkeys: http://m.humanesociety.org/animals/turkeys/tips/what-to-do-about-wild-turkeys.html

So happy to give you some enjoyment. Ha! At least you didn't tell me you're sick of seeing them (I am!!).

Jenny, thanks for the article. I'm afraid my haze doesn't faze them for more than the moment. I've chased them away countless times. And they eat the cat food, but I can't remove that... or the birdbath if I want any other birds to come. The only good thing is that I haven't seen more than a few lately. Phi Kappa Wattle - ha! :-D

Kinda sorry to say that I am not sick of the turkey pictures (they can make really funny ones!), but I would be tired to see them too if they were in my yard!
