In case anybody wonders...

Anybody not from around here that is... yes, it's still white out. It got whiter still with some fog again overnight, so it's frosty as well as snowy. Here's the view from my kitchen window.

Remember the LP gas tank we have in our back yard? That's it at the base of the evergreen tree below. My clothesline poles are looking kinda short, too.

(Click either photo to enlarge.)

Such a WHITE view, including the sky. I usually have to squint when I look out the window, because it's so bright out there.

The snow amount just keeps creeping up, inch by inch. And it's doing more so as I type. There are a couple more inches of white fluff in the forecast for tonight, accompanied by wind, of course, to blow it around again. Joy.

Oh, and that's an icicle hanging down from the top of the second photo... just in case anybody wonders. :)

Oh GG! Now I am starting to feel bad. We have had our snows and most of it is gone.

We drove back from (finally) seeing our Grand Daughter in a driving wet snow last Friday. The NC coast got 4-6 inches!! That rarely happens.

But now I want all of your snow to go away. I think the "ooooh, it's so pretty" has worn off. At least you have power.

Be safe and warm.

Yeah, Becky... it's gettin' real OLD. And today, anything loose is blowing around again. Numerous church services were cancelled. It's also predicted to get below zero (just a bit) later this week. It's only in the low teens right now.

Thinking ahead to when it does melt, it's gonna be a muddy mess. With all the rain we had in October, the ground is already wet enough. There could be flooding in some areas. At least we never have to worry about that... we live at the top of a hill. :)

Glad you finally got to see that new granddaughter. Hope you took lotsa pics!

Wonder if Mark is still jealous...just wondering...

Yeah, he's still jealous. It's really easy to THINK you want to be here when you don't have to be. ;)
