Another panorama

My moss roses were looking exceptionally full and pretty a few mornings ago, so I decided to see if I could make a good panorama of the whole bed, since it's too long to get a decent full shot with my camera. I think it turned out rather nice! (Click on it to see it much larger.)

Here are some closer shots for your viewing pleasure.

I just love all the beautiful colors!

Looks very healthy.
Have you been watering it all summer?
Or are they pretty tough in the face of drought?

Nope, I haven't watered them at all. Moss roses are a desert-type plant, and you're not supposed to water them. That's part of the reason I love them! That and the fact that they reseed themselves. The only care they need is weeding and thinning. I've had these in that long planter for many, many years, and I've never had to replant.

I just love these flowers! In past years I have had some, but then I got super lazy. I love how they close up at night...
