And away she went! (Nice when the bus comes right in your driveway, isn't it?!)
It was pretty exciting! Fortunately, it wasn't a huge adjustment for her. She'd been to her classroom and met her teacher on Tuesday morning. Plus having gone to Kindergarten Connection preschool in the same area at the school, and having ridden buses before between daycare and the school, she was pretty well-prepared. But she still looks awfully little alongside that big ol' bus, doesn't she?!
I called her after school to see how it had gone. Apparently it was a really good day... she said they "had recess and got to play two times"! Ha! I asked if they did any crafts, and she said they'd made a raccoon. Sounds like a great day to me! :)
I talked to Mommy this morning, and she said Courtney had gotten up and ready and was excited about another day at school. Hurray for kindergarten!
