"Golden hour" photos, Part 1

Did you know that the first and last hour of sunlight during the day are referred to as the "golden hour" in photography? Those are the best hours for taking photos outdoors, because the lighting is about perfect. Last evening I went for a walk just before sunset, and I took a bunch of pictures. They're mostly of weeds, but they're very pretty! I won't put them all in one post, because then I'd run out of pics again, so I'll just show them to you over the course of a few days, a photo or two at a time. So here we go......

Thanks, Gwen... doesn't get much better than that, does it? Well, at least in photography. ;)

Gorgeous shots.

Perhaps we will see follow up pics of the new crop of dandelions once they bloom, to see how gorgeous they are in the golden hour? You are so good with follow-ups!

Thanks, Becky!

I think the dandelions are about done for the year, but I'll keep my eye out for some, just in case. :)
