January thaw

We've had a touch of "spring" the last few days! It got up to 44° yesterday! And it ended with a beautiful sunset.

The snow's been melting, and I even found a bit of standing water, proof of how warm it had gotten:

Yes, I finished my sewing project... but by the time I did, it was dark, so photo-taking was not to be. Tomorrow.....

Wow, the colors of that sunset are so vibrant, it hardly seems real. Beautiful!

Thank you, ladies! It's real, Kris... I didn't do any photo editing at all. It was just the way the sun was hitting the clouds, I guess. But remember the old saying, "a photo never lies"? In today's world that's sure not true, is it, thanks to Photoshop, etc.!

Patience, Jess! ;) The photos are now taken (in the tent, due to total gloominess outside), but not viewed on the computer yet. Check tomorrow's post....
