More signs of spring

Photos from this morning... spring is definitely here!

Of course it wouldn't be spring without dandelions. This is the first one I've seen so far. Or second. It had a twin nearby.

And the violas (a.k.a. johnny jump-ups) always bloom early.

But my tulips started opening yesterday!

This is actually the one I went out to photograph:

And closer:

Did you notice the background above?

Yep, I was getting an assistant, Miss Mia. She had her eye on the same flower I did.

That was a lucky shot - ha!

So many flowers!! Nothing says spring like the first flowers! We can probably even appreciate dandelions at this time of the year.. And those pictures of Mia are magnificient! (as is Mia herself :) Nice shots!

We finally emerged from the snow last weekend here and I noticed dandelions and daylily seem to be the first to emerge (well, I can't say for sure, I have a hard time recognizing plants haha)

Thanks, Geneviève! And glad to hear spring is arriving for you, too!

I don't have any spring flowering things in my year, but I saw some crocus flowers popping up at my in-laws house last weekend. It's so nice to see signs of spring after the cold and yucky winter!

Oh yeah - it's Spring! Good to see flowers and kittens and kittens with flowers. Enjoy the day in the sun!

Yes, spring is always so welcome! I guess having a cold, snowy winter just makes us appreciate it more.
