They're still here

Is it wrong of me to wish they'd get the flu?

Look at the beard!

Obviously those were two different birds, since this one seems to be missing a few tail feathers!

At least they haven't remembered the birdbath yet. Or I just haven't seen them and they haven't knocked it off the deck yet. (The coons did one night, though. Grr.) I probably just jinxed myself, too.

Oh no! My deepest sympathies for your once turley-free backyard!

But, even if they tend to make a mess everywhere they go, they are beautiful picture subjects. Their feathers are so full of little details! And they have beards?! BEARDS!?

Still, it's totally ok to wish they get the flu :P

Those turkeys are pretty, but somehow ugly too! Didn't like them when they showed up in our old backyard. They would knock down the bird feeders and bird bath. Heard some people in Afton say turkey talons wrecked their roof. Yikes! Audrey

Yep... the toms have beards!

Oh, gee... now we have to worry about the roof, too? Ugh.

Well, that's one more reason to wish they get the flu I guess... Let's hope they decide to nest veeerrrry far from your home!

The good news is that there are only a few lately, rather than the whole flock of 19 or whatever it was. Apparently they've split up, and some were seen quite a long way from here. Or maybe they got the flu...... ;)
