Dogs of Newport

As we were walking along, we were serenaded by this big guy. He wasn't the friendliest chap around. Let's just say I'm glad there was a fence between him and us. But then when I got the camera ready to snap a pic of his fierceness, he walked away. Ha.

This little cutie was much more friendly. So was its owner. When she saw I had a camera, she told me to take a picture of her dog. So I did!

Next door was a rather bored? lazy? relaxed-looking dog who didn't seem to mind our presence at all.

Just cute.

We met a few dogs on the sidewalks with their owners, too, but they were moving too much for photos. :)

I've got a serenading dog in my neighborhood. Do you think he'd shut up and go away if I took his picture too?

The dogs pictures are lovely, but I prefer the kittens! :)

Of course he will, Jenny. You just go do it and then report back as to how well it worked. ;)

It's a good thing you prefer kitten pics, since they probably outnumber dog pics on here by at least 100 to 1 - ha! :)

Yeah! The puppies get equal time!

Serenading dog haha! Nice way to put it.

That bored/lazy dog just seem to have a cat attitude to me :P You know, those days when they are like "whatever...I don't care... Let me contemplate my boredom in peace (sigh)". Or maybe dogs also get to be like that sometimes? Any dog people here to confirm?

"Equal time"? Let's see... there is ONE tag for dogs (that being this post) - and 311 for cats! LOL Although I know of one more dog post... when Courtney got her puppy last summer. But that may be it! Equal. ;)

Yeah, let's hear from some dog people here.....

Love the dog pics! But I also love the kitties. I own a dog with bad separation anxiety and the vet kindly refers to him as the "Singing Lab" rather than complaining that he howls until we come to get him. I hope we always run into people like you who refer to it as "serenading" rather than "barking his head off"!

Sounds like you have a very nice, very patient vet, Blue. :)
