Pristine whiteness

This is the scene I got up to yesterday morning. Pretty. But... I was becoming so fond of brown! Ah, well... I knew it had to happen sometime. I'm just glad it's January and not October!


There was just a bit of frost on the branches, too.


Later in the morning yesterday the wind started coming up, and it really got to howling. As you can see below, it did a lot of rearranging.

I am quite happy now that our outside is quite white instead of persistent brown.

Mother Nature can't decide where she wants that stuff.
I like the second plan.
There's more chance you'll see that grass again soon if the sun comes out.

We are back to green grass. Last night's thunder and rain and today's rain chased all our whiteness away. I prefer the bright white. A very grey day.
