Craft jar project #1

Courtney made this project (with a little help from Grandma) last week Tuesday, but we had to keep it a secret until today! Here she is, working very hard cutting up little squares of several colors of tissue paper.

She really concentrated, and did a careful job!

After cutting all the little squares, she scrunched up every one of them! Then we glued them onto the front of a card she was making.

Here's what she wrote, all by herself, with only the spelling by me. Then she added some foam stickers, and the card was done!

It was for her mommy and daddy, whose 8th wedding anniversary is today.  Happy Anniversary, Nate and Suzi!!!!!

That thing is just full of creative possibilities. And what a wonderful first project, Mom and Dads anniversary.
I particularly like the scrunched papers for the heart.
