See what I'm doing for you?!

I want you to know I was up early, doing my best to please my blog readers by taking more photos. I stepped out into the frigid 20° in my bathrobe to snap the sunrise just for you.

(I was going to take pics of some tree bark for you while I was out feeding the cats, Gwen, but I forgot. ;) )

Yesterday I received some fabric in the mail, so I have another project to work on! Yay!

Oh, and do you want to see something cool? Look here to see Jess's fabric gracing the cover of a new book that's just coming out! It was a fun surprise for her, too!

Oh, and I just preordered that book. I have her first one and really like it! So cool that Jess's fabric is on the cover!

You are a brave trooper to get those shots so early and in the cold.
However, I will be even more impressed when the temp is even lower.
You know it will happen.

Thanks!

I know, Dale... I'm so brave! So brave as to step outside the door onto the deck for 10 seconds. ;) You might not get a chance to be impressed when those inevitable colder temps come, 'cause I might not be such a brave trooper as to attempt photo-taking in them. That's when you'll get the slightly blurry through-the-plastic shots. ;)

Since your sewing, pictures of tools, gadgets, notion items, and the stories behind them may be interesting. I am not sure if you have already "toured" your sewing room on the blog. I know there is a story behind a lot of my items. Such as how it was acquired, how it is used, why it is loved, etc. Also, the evolution of storage systems, methods or organization is constant in my craft area. Perhaps since you are sewing with your new fabric, and maybe cannot share the project yet, you can showcase the tools you use along the way.

Don't think this is a request that I am asking you to fulfill, just an idea for you to keep taking pictures inside without ruining the surprise of your projects.

But of course, all of your lovely frost pictures are sure to come.

Thanks for the suggestions, Becky. Actually, I do have a couple of sewing tools I've taken pics of with intentions to blog, but they require some explanation, so I simply haven't taken the time. I need to quit procrastinating on that!

Organization? What's that? Ha - you should see my sewing room. Actually, no you shouldn't! ;)

I ALWAYS have this inner struggle of putting things away right away after it is used. HAH, I am always running to the next thing. Or I am mid-project and there is no sense to put away what will be used the next time I sit in that spot. Only, sometimes other projects sneak in and that stuff gets pushed aside. Then, I look and there is a disaster. So I spend LOTS of time re-organizing and making it look neat and tidy. Then I don't want to use it as it will not stay clean. But I vow to put items away after use. So I start again, but find myself running to the next thing . . . . (sigh)

So, you shouldn't see my space either!
