Ahhh... bliss! Is there anything better than a little girl with her lap full of newborn kittens?
They belong to Rainbow, and they were born probably Sunday. I didn't find them until Monday evening. At least they're in a place that's easily accessible to Courtney and me.
Rainbow was very thirsty. She didn't seem to mind what we did with her babies.
Last year she was only a year old when she had her first kittens, and she didn't take care of them. This year she's being a very good mama.
Sorry, Grace... I think she's staying. She seems to be holding her own with the other cats, at least for now. Maybe becoming a mama makes her tougher. ;)

Becoming a mother does make them tougher. They are not afraid to fight if necessary to protect theirs.
