First rainbow of the year

We had a lovely shower of rain last evening, after a high daytime temperature of 82°!! The wind gusted to over 45 mph, though, so it wasn't a very pleasant day at all. But the rain settled the dust, and the sun came back out before the showers even ended, producing a lovely rainbow. If you look closely, you can see that it was even double.

And yeah... I haven't cleaned the camera yet. I'm a little nervous about the process, actually. I've watched a couple of videos on how to do it, although they were contradictory, so I'm not sure which way is really the best. And I'm not sure where that speck of lint is sitting, so I'm not sure what inside the camera needs cleaning. So I procrastinate. I'm sure once I've done it, it won't be so intimidating the next time, but it's just taking that first step, y'know? Anybody have any tips?

BTW, that 82° is now gone for a while. In fact, I just heard the 's' word mentioned as a possibility in the forecast for next week. Bah.

Really nice to see a rainbow again, especially when it's the first of the year!

We are supposed to get some snow around here too this weekend... and I'm so glad I'll be running away from it for the weekend! I think we all had enough this year!

Down to 62° today, but that's still nothing to complain about. Well, except for the WIND again. It's from the other direction this time, which will bring our temps back down below freezing tonight. 40's for tomorrow. Oh, well....
