More.....

More kittens. Yep. *sigh* This is Scoot, almost ready:

The pic was taken right outside our garage back door. I think she got wind of there being a maternity ward/nursery in there. Nope, Scoot. No way. Not again. NO!!!!!

That was last Sunday. She had her babies sometime Wednesday or the night before... and NOT in the garage, thank goodness. I don't know where they are.

Dash decided to have hers at the same time. She's one of those whose babies got killed earlier this spring, most likely by a tomcat. Thank goodness she only had 3 this time:

She had them in quite an open area, next to a wall in the machine shed. She's been VERY protective of them... so much so, in fact, that she dragged one over to the food pan to be with her while she ate. She did the same thing last year, too. That's a pretty big newborn!

She has since moved them a little ways... behind some junk near the same wall. They're in such a tiny space that nothing can get past her to get at them! Only the 2 white ones are there, though. I don't know what happened to the other one.

Yes, she looks a lot like Rainbow, doesn't she? They might be sisters. I'm beginning to lose track. Anyway, she is Annabelle's (house cat) mother. Scoot (top photo) is Josie's (other house cat) sister.

As for Rainbow's kittens... they're making progress for sure!

No progress on finding them new homes, though.
