This is my only bird news for this week. It's a baby blackbird that somehow managed to leave the nest prematurely. Its parents were nearby, scolding me fiercely. I don't know what happened to it after I took the photo. I couldn't reach the nest to put it back. With cats around, it probably was doomed.
