Courtney was here for the day again yesterday. Since school is out now, we get to have whole days instead of just a couple hours after school. Of course that means we need more things to do. She brings some things along... like Barbies and her American Girl doll, which she loves to (make Grandma) play with.
Recently I came across a bunch of Courtney's daddy's Lego sets that he'd played with when he was a kid. We brought them up to check out today, and Courtney immediately labeled them "boy Legos" (as opposed to her own girl Legos). Yep, Daddy did like his boy toys. Just look at all the equipment he'd built!
I didn't remember that he'd had so many Lego sets!
Josie liked them, too, and every so often that pretty white paw reached out and snatched a piece or two.
There was one kit that wasn't put together, so Courtney and I decided to give it a try. It went together fine... until we discovered there were a few pieces missing. Maybe that's why it wasn't put together!
Just look at all the "boy stuff"...
Jose looked really closely!
It was fun for all. And all the Legos went home with Courtney to play with with her daddy. I bet they'll have lots of fun working on this stuff together. Daddy'll feel like a kid again!

I like boy legos! :)
Gwen
Maybe Josie hid those missing pieces.
I'll bet you've seen your share of them, Gwen! :)
I asked her, Jess, but she said she didn't.
I find it really interesting that all the legos were already assembled. Jenna and Jaime do that too, assemble them and never take them apart to see what else they can build with them.
Looks like you had a great day!
Missing pieces are the WORST! I still need to sort through all of Lukes legos and reassemble kits.
