What a weirdo. Do outside cats ever sleep like that?
My old dog used to sleep like that, too. Not sure about the back paws, though. And my dog was an inside dog.
I don't think I've ever seen an outside cat sleep like that. Maybe they feel too vulnerable like that.
That's what I think, too. Apparently Josie is not worried about some predator attacking her big soft belly while she's in a compromising position. Annabelle must not be a big enough threat.
My guys will sleep upside down on the ground or on patio chairs out on the deck but my deck is screened in. Not sure if they know that they are (sorta) safe from predators or not when they are out there. They aren't allowed out of the screened in deck - except for very rare walks on a leash.
