"Once in a blue moon"

Do you know what a "blue moon" is? It's the second full moon in a month, which doesn't happen very often, thus the expression. We happened to have one this week, and it was still so pretty in the sky yesterday morning that I had to grab my camera and capture it before it got away behind the hay shed. I almost missed it!

In case there's any question, it's the white ball in the center of the photo... not the gold ball on the upper right, which is our yard light. :-)

(Yeah, JHRME, it was pretty early.... about 7:20 a.m.!) ;-)

Shudder. Actually, I'm more fascinated by how dark it is! I think (because I dont see that time of day too often) that it's much brighter here by that time.

Yeah, after a bit of research, I've found that the sun rises around a half hour earlier at your house than mine. There... we've learned something new today! :)

Haha. That's funny. And even if JHRME happened to be at YOUR house, where the sun rises half an hour later, she still wouldn't see it....
