There are good things about all the snow. Like it makes for beautiful photos, right? And fun walks with toddlers. And it's good exercise climbing over/through the drifts... and shoveling. Okay, now I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel. But even the heifers have decided to make a game of it. A little "King... er... Queen on the Hill", anyone?
Happy New Year, everybody! I hope for a great year for each and every one of you, but even if it isn't so great, just think of heifers and find that something positive in the negative. ;-)

Is it bad that I really want to give them a wash, cut and style? some how I dont think they'd humor me. Is the one on top exerting dominance or just being the way little boys are (Unable to resist the urge to climb.)
They do look pretty grungy, don't they? And no, they probably wouldn't humor you. Unless they were started at a young age, like the 4-H cattle are. They get groomed for the fairs.
Nah, I don't think there's any dominance. They're just "playing". A snow pile is 'different', so they have to check it out. ;) BTW, they're little girls... but maybe acting like little boys. :)
